BCF Solutions, Inc. is hiring two full-time Accounting Technicians to support the F35 Joint Program Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Experience in the following functional duties is required:
• Provide financial management and analysis support to the J35 Joint Program Office (JPO)
• Assist in developing, updating, and performing financial analysis in support of the development, production, and sustainment activities for the F-35 JPO
• Provide budget formulation and strategic planning support
• Provide budget execution support
• Provide financial management closeout and reconciliation support
• Travel may be required for this position
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• B.A. or B.S. in a business or management discipline such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance (8 years of equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree requirement)
• Two (2) years of budget analysis experience, with one (1) of those years in relevant Major Development Acquisition Program (MDAP) experience or other industry equivalent
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products; primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• In depth knowledge of commonly used budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, and processes to formulate, justify, and execute assigned budget in support of the mission, structure, goals, work processes, and programs of assigned activities/organizations desired
• Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships
PREREQUISITES:
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
• An active DoD Secret clearance is highly desirable
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
Must have the following experience:
• Skilled in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment
• Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
