We currently have an opportunity for a mid-level management consultant who can lead healthcare policy development, analytical support, and program management for the delivery of healthcare benefits under various TRICARE contracts and subsequent delivery models. This consultant will be responsible for team leadership in providing program management support for Healthcare Business Operations, TRICARE Operations, Referral Management and the Beneficiary Counseling and Assistance Coordinator (BCAC) Programs.
Duties:
• Responsible for integration, facilitation, and project management support of a counseling program; this includes maintaining rosters of providers and updating guidance to comply with newly issued policies
• Provide administrative and program coordination for coordination and development of a referral management program, including tracking records and submitting analysis of metrics
• Responsible for administrative support and program management services focused on supporting the development of health services policy and guidelines that direct the provision of medical and dental services as authorized by law or regulation
• The contractor shall provide administrative support and program management services for overall policy, program development and sustainment
Requirements:
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in management consulting and bachelor's degree in business or other related field.
The strongest candidate will have an understanding of Tricare, healthcare business operations, and how policy is changing to meet demands of military healthcare and how much it is impacting the overall DOD budget.
Experience in healthcare administration and operations, program management, information management, and/or healthcare policy and strategy is preferred.
