Global Fasteners, located in Dallas Texas, is a 30 year old fastener distributorship specializing in Electronic, Military Spec and Commercial Hardware. We are looking for someone to manage an existing sales desk. Requires 2+ years minimum experience in the industry and handling a high volume desk. Will train a veteran.
This position requires excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to increase sales. The job description includes entering orders, researching products, creating RFQ's, entering quotes, sourcing product and following up on existing orders. In addition, the individual will be required to work with purchasing and warehouse staff to insure a smooth delivery of orders. The job includes marketing efforts to existing customers as well as sourcing and contacting new customers. Good communication and customer service skills required as well as multitasking. Computer skills and general knowledge of MS office are required. We are looking for someone with a back ground in electronic hardware, Mil-spec and general commercial fasteners.
Familiarity with Electronic hardware lines: RAF, Keystone, Concord, PEM Etc. As well metric and standard hardware. Mil-spec experience is a plus.
