Summary: Assists Managers in coordinating and directing work activities of the door production line.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Assigns workers to work stations to meet production requirements.
•Interprets process specifications for workers.
•Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary.
•Operate, adjust, troubleshoot, and repairs various production machines.
•Refers extensive machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
•Confers with Managers and Maintenance to receive instructions and exchange production information.
•Trains workers in equipment operation.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word word processing software; MS Excel spreadsheet software; Internet software; Order processing systems and Manufacturing software.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Directly supervises 25 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
