Job Description:
The successful applicant will perform the duties of a licensed electrical apprentice (building) in the State of Texas under the direct supervision of a licensed Master and/or Journeyman Electrician including, but not limited to, residential, commercial and industrial electrical service and new construction work. As the apprentice your primary duty is to keep your journeyman working by learning the materials and tools and following the directions of your journeyman. Unlike larger companies, we run two-man trucks which benefits you as the apprentice by giving you one-on-one time throughout the day, offering you the opportunity learn faster and excel.

Requirements:
Candidates must have earned an honorable discharge. OTOH (medical) will be considered on a case-by-case basis. OTOH for discipline or drug problems will not be considered. Dishonorable discharges will not be considered.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test. These are mandatory. Do not apply if you cannot pass.
Valid Texas apprenticeship license (available through TDLR - please select Apprentice Electrician Application. A SIGN apprentice is neither needed nor valid for this position).
Valid Texas driver license.
Must be able to physically perform the duties of the job, which include lifting and holding over 50 pounds above your head; crawling in attics and under houses; digging; working at heights on ladders and lifts; bending, stooping, crouching and kneeling; walking and jogging; pulling, reaching and bending.
Must have own transportation, phone and tools. A tool list is available and we can help you get what tools you do not have.
