Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc. (ACT) is a developer and manufacturer of advanced cooling solutions for the aerospace, military, commercial, and government R&D markets. Our products are utilized in leading edge technologies where current solutions are insufficient or non-existent. Typical cooling solutions include heat pipes, pumped liquid cooling, and thermal storage devices. We specialize in technology development and custom thermal product design and manufacturing. We work to solve some of the most challenging thermal problems that system engineers are facing in this era of rapid innovation and product development.
Due to the rapid growth of business activities, we have an immediate opening for a full-time Engineering Technician to provide design support, machining, system assembly, and testing support for our engineering projects.
Requirements
Certificate from technical school or minimum 3 years of related experience
Ability to operate hand tools (drills, drivers, etc.) and basic shop tools (press, mill, lathe, etc.)
Maintain an effective working pace to help the team complete projects on-time
Ability to stay flexible and easily redirect efforts in a fast pace R&D environment
Hands-on fabrication and troubleshooting of assembly processes and test stands
Ability to contribute to problem solving for product and prototype manufacturing
Detailed note taking of assembly steps and testing records
Preferences
SolidWorks or other CAD experience
Basic electricity and vacuum systems experience
Metal working such as machining, soldering, brazing, and welding
