Events & Social Media Coordinator
Seeking entrepreneurial and driven individual with familiarity in online marketing, WordPress, social media, CRM programs (Salesforce or RunMyClub) or non-profit management. Some experience with event planning is strongly preferred. It is possible that the right candidate may not have the depth of experience suggested by these responsibilities but can "grow" into the position. Must be in New York City Metropolitan area or willing to relocate (we do not offer any relocation compensation)
The Events & Social Media Coordinator will:
• Manage program design and implementation of initiatives and events, briefings and conferences.
• Grow and maintain awareness of programs and initiatives
• Help grow presence online and in new media. Marketing, publicity, online and new media strategies and public education. Media or PR experience a plus.
• Create and execute development and revenue plan to grow organization revenue. Administer membership growth, development and fundraising plans.
• Must have a strong commitment to the organization and its goals, work collaboratively with the Chair and remain responsive to the Board of Directors.
