Job Purpose: Found and grow a reliable in-house finance, controls and accounting function to support all aspects of our business.
Job Duties:
• Manage the day-to-day book-keeping and accounting activities, including accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, inventory, fixed asset records, general & entity accounting, cost accounting, human resources, and operations, etc.
• Develop, improve and issue timely monthly financial records and reports for the executive officers and board of directors, including regular dashboard reports
• Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures, product costing, etc. when necessary
• Complete bank reconciliations periodically
• Manage the production of annual budgets and forecasts
• Issue timely and complete financial statements
• Manage commercial banking relationships
• Maintain system of accounting policies and procedures
Skills/Qualifications: The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.
Compensation: commensurate with skills and qualifications.
