Overview:
Solid State Technologies is looking for a dynamic individual to join our professional team as an outside sales person for the position described below. Solid State Technologies stands out in the water treatment industry by bringing new and innovative concepts into the marketplace. Duties & Responsibilities
• Participate in learning about SST products and the concept of water treatment
• Schedules and makes sales calls (in person) with new and established customers
• Preparing Proposals for customers.
• Prepares estimates and quotations including follow-up.
• Initiates joint sales calls
• Maintaining good communication with clients and colleagues
• Performs business reporting, forecasting, and planning.
• Performing such other duties as may be assigned by the Company at its discretion from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Strong communication skills in person/over the phone and in writing
• Team player and motivated to succeed
• Pro-active personality, ability to work with others, organized and self-starter
• Ability to develop and maintain thorough knowledge about products available in the marketplace and be able to communicate our products to potential customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Associates Degree or Certificate recommended
A chemical background is helpful but not necessary, we are willing to train.
Special Requirements
Must be able to travel within the United States.
