J. F. Development Manager Position:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree. Healthcare Licensure preferred (RN, LCSW, APN, LNHA, PT, OT), advanced degree such as MBA and other graduate degrees in Healthcare Management welcome. Medical background and experience required. Rehabilitation/Skilled nursing facility experienced desirable. Healthcare sales and marketing experience desirable. Must be energetic, comfortable in the social arena and in an entrepreneurial/new venture environment.
Will develop clinical service territories for 3 healthcare service lines within rehabilitation/skilled nursing facilities
3 service lines
• Rehabilitation therapies (PT/OT/SLP)
• Clinical Psychology
• Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) / Nurse Practitioner
• Considering the possibility of recruiting for a psychiatrists based upon demand and cash flow as well
Territorial coverage:
• Illinois Central (Chicago to Bloomington/Peoria to Champaign to Chicago) as the first priority—
• Illinois Western (West of DuPage Co.—up to Rockford, west to Moline—back to Peoria) second priority
• Third priority and possibly longer range—Indiana North-Western (Lake and Porter Counties)
The Manager of development would:
• Create new service lines (Rehab. Therapies/APN/Psychiatry)
• Obtain new business / contracts for all lines
• Create and Manage strategic partnerships with non-employee physicians
• Manage provider benefits/compensation/scheduling and logistics
• Work toward the creation of Service Line Managers / Practitioners for each line and possibly sub-managers for regions and Manage said positions
• Future management of administrative staff
• Assume Future HIPPA compliance, IT management and Purchasing responsibilities
• Future expansion of position to broader operations responsibilities
Compensation consists of base salary($30,000 to $50,000) with generous bonus plan; Blue cross-Blue Shield PPO insurance plan; paid vacation and holiday time.
Some Travel will be required, estimated 30-40% with limited overnight.
