Sales Engineer/Account Manager

Our company is growing fast and you’ll be playing a key role in a high-energy team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for increasing usage of all Unico Mechanical’s services within the assigned territory. This position requires contact with existing customers as well as new prospects, and identifies opportunities to sell all Unico Mechanical’s services. The Sales Account Manager will also build relationships with trade associations and firms. Typical sales activities will include the use of the telephone, face to face meetings, and group presentations to achieve the territory revenue goals.
Essential Dotes and Responsibilities
• Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company services.
• Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
• Overcome objections of prospective customers.
• Emphasize service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales reports.
• Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.
• Generate and develop new customer accounts to increase revenue, by cold-calling if .necessary.
• Always maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner.
• Actively manage schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
• Collect marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate records, including sales call reports, expense reimbursement forms, billing invoices, and other documentation.
• Periodically conduct information-only presentations, such as seminars, trade show demonstrations, and other efforts.
• Make front-line assessment of market conditions and advise company managers and marketing staff of findings.
• Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new services, competitor activities, and other research.

• Experience in Zoho and/or 4P desired.
Education and Experience
• Strong experience leading sales meeting and presentations.
• Proven experience developing relationships with key decision makers, expanding sales within existing accounts, and developing new business.
• Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas while controlling expenses and costs.
• Proven experience achieving business plan goals and meeting new business development goals.
• Experienced at developing detailed sales/marketing plans, forecasts sales, manages time and work flow, creates effective call plans, monitors and responds to competition, networks and generates referrals.
• Knows and can explain product features/benefits, understands/sells the full product line, understands customer's business operations and needs, understands/responds to the competition, and applies market knowledge.
• Demonstrated success in working independently, setting own hours and schedule.
• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) preferred.
