SUMMARY
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to on a day to day operation of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Daily tasks include medium to high volume of phone calls
• Contact with very diverse clientele varying from the general public, promoters, sports team representatives, various company affiliates sports and entertainment industry personnel nationwide
• Perform general office manager duties such as ordering office supplies, kitchen supplies, coordinating for any office repairs, office moves, work station setups, new software requests, etc.
• Establish and maintain extensive filing system for the department.
• Generate various reports (audits, weekly sales, etc.)
• Ensure timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and maintain other financial requests.
• Create spreadsheets, special forms, correspondence and memorandum.
QUALIFICATIONS
• College Degree preferred.
• 1-2 years related work experience and administrative support
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be highly organized, resourceful, quick learner and able to multi-task.
• Strong follow-up and communication skills required.
• Must have exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills as well as the ability to think creatively, multi-task and to perform successfully in a very fast-paced environment.
• Ability to consistently re-prioritize projects, meetings and fast-changing schedules, while remaining productive and professional.
• Have a demonstrated experience interacting with executive management, good people skills in order to provide exceptional service.
