Our Naperville, Illinois Structural team is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer. This person will be the lead/primary structural designer of large complex commercial buildings, industrial facilities, medical complexes, educational facilities, churches, military, and governmental projects. Additional responsibilities would include:
- Be responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes
- Make major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff
- Plan design work and assign design duties to staff working on projects
- Be a part of the interviewing team for upcoming projects
- Effectively serve as a Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects
- Identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients and prepare proposal services
- Participate in presentation to clients
The ideal candidate would:
- Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- Have prior work experience in the Building/Consulting Industry
- Minimum 8 years of previous industry experience
- Have proven leadership and Project Management knowledge
- PE Licensure - SE License preferred
- Have excellent communication skills - verbal and written
- Be able to work with Revit
