Technical Data Analysis, Inc. (TDA), an engineering and software consulting company has an immediate, direct, full-time position available for an experienced Program Analyst to develop and field a web-based Aircraft Component Tracking System, known as ACTS. You will work directly on this leading-edge web application TDA is developing for the US Navy’s fleet of aircraft. As part of a small team developing this application you will interface directly with stakeholders and fleet end-users. You will see firsthand how your work is used on a day-to-day basis and how your efforts are improving the safety of Navy aviation.
Main Duties:
- Work with end-users to define the final layout and capabilities of the aircraft component tracking system
- Effective communication skills to demonstrate the software product and train end-users
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Aviation Maintenance Administrationmen (AZ) in the Aviation Maintenance shop for the US Navy
- Experience tracking aircraft components and working with logbooks (ASR, SRC, EHR cards)
- Extensive knowledge of the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP)
- Experience operating the Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS)
- Familiarity with DYCOMTRAK and Configuration Management Information System (CMIS) a plus
Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to work effectively with small teams in a dynamic environment
- Ability to interact with clients for data gathering and design initiation
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with a wide range of information technology (IT) systems including computer hardware, software, and networks
- Ability and willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required
- Interest in aviation and working with and around aircraft
Other Qualifications:
- High School or equivalent diploma
- Aviation maintenance training
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Department of Defense security clearance a plus
