Job Description: Photon Product Trainer/Implementation Specialist
Summary Job Description
Applicant will train physicians and other care providers on the Photon product suite primarily on-site at customer locations. Key tasks will include:
- Training physicians and other end users on Photon
- Following up with end users to ensure proper and consistent adoption as well as correct usage of the application
- Troubleshooting with end users
- Ensuring that physicians and other providers at customer locations receive the applicable support documentation and information needed for long-term sustainment
Overview of the Photon Application
Photon enables providers to securely communicate with one another directly from their mobile smart devices. All communication is fully HIPAA-compliant and contains the complete relevant patient chart, including medical records, high-resolution images, diagnostics, ER notes, transcriptions, and test results. Each message is date/time-stamped and recorded with a comprehensive audit trail of all exchanges, including the logging of all access to confidential patient information.
Job Requirements
- Must be a good listener, patient and able to comfortably work with physicians and other medical staff personnel in one-on-one situations and in small groups
- Comfortable using technology, specifically smart devices, tablets and desktop computers
- Applicant will be required to travel. The typical schedule for a week of training involves:
- Traveling to customer’s location on Monday (often early afternoon)
- On-site training Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday for at least 10 hours
- Traveling home on Friday (often morning)
- Willing to work hourly, with the opportunity to become a part time or full time employee, based on merit and future company growth
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Associates Degree (minimum), Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), and/or relevant experience gained, and medical certifications.
Experience
Strongest consideration will be given to Registered Nurse (RN) candidates who worked directly with physicians and other medical staff, especially in the delivery of care to patients, and that have a solid working knowledge of the “continuum of care” for patients throughout their stay in a hospital or other medical facility.
Technical Skills
Candidates must have a working knowledge of smartphones, tablet devices, and laptops and must be able to comfortably use these technologies to train and assist physicians and other caregivers as we deploy Photon at their hospitals.
Compensation
This position will pay $25-$35 an hour, based on experience. Additionally, all reasonable expenses incurred during a customer training session such as travel, meals and other incidentals will be paid by Photon.
